In a nail-biting game between Brentwood’s Grade 12 basketball all-stars and the incredibly talented staff, the teachers managed to take the trophy this past Sunday evening. After the disappointing loss last year, the teachers came back ready to fight and just managed to scrape by in the last seconds of the game. This year, the staff recruited some new members including interns Ms Abdilla and Mr. Morrison who scored the final point to win the game with an assist from Senior Boys’ Basketball coach, Mr. Gage. While the refereeing may not have been up to the Grade 12s expectations, Mr. Felix allowed for a heart-pounding game for a Sunday night’s festivities. Congratulations to the staff for clutching a close 53-52 win over our Senior Basketball players. Anyone up for Staff-Student soccer? Brynn A, Hope ’15
