The Regatta’s BEAT Team: We’re All On It!

Recycle. Compost. Garbage. You have three choices as to where to throw your trash and we even have team to assist you! All of the students with a bright green BEAT t-shirt are signed up to guide you and answer any questions you may have regarding your waste, as well as educate you on how to preserve our environment. Many entrepreneurship groups are serving their delicacies in cardboard or paper containers, which are compostable. Plastic forks, knives, and spoons are all recyclable, as well as are the plastic lids from the Brentwood Bay Café coffee stand. The cups and sleeves, however, are compostable. If you happen to not be able to finish all of your food, please don’t toss it into the garbage, for this is indeed, compostable. Please do your part in preserving our environment, and minimizing our impact, not only by tossing your waste into the appropriate bin, but by reminding your friends and family to do the same.
