Woodworking

Woodworking provides students with the opportunity to learn how to use machine and hand tools to construct projects that are both functional and artistic. Our spacious woodworking shop has all the equipment students could expect to find in a professional shop—including a table saw, lathe, planer, bandsaw, drill press, and drum sander. Students will learn how to cut, create wood joints, sand, and apply stains, waxes, and other finishes—followed by more advanced opportunities to design their own projects. Safety is at the forefront of the Brentwood Woodworking Program, as students are trained on equipment in a graduated manner and supervised by knowledgeable instructors.
