A Seedy Sunday Leads to Soup!

A Seedy Sunday Leads to Soup!

20 March 2013Jim Ganley

On the final Sunday of last term, March 10th, students prepared the BEAT garden for the upcoming season. We worked diligently to plant vegetables for use in the SPARC soup program which provides a hot lunch to students at Khowhemun Elementary School in Duncan.
After Spring Break, we hope to finish planting all of the beds and make seed trays for students to sprout in their houses. Thank you to Ms. Richardson for organizing this and to the students who volunteered their time and came out to help.
Your help is always appreciated! Happy Spring Break!
