Brentwood Duo Named to National Junior Team

Claire V (Gr 12) and Martin B (Gr 11) were recently named to Canada’s National Junior Rowing team which will compete at the World Junior Rowing Championships in Eton, England, August 4-7. Claire, who won the 2x at the CSSRA Regatta with partner Deirdre H, and also earned a bronze in the 1x, will compete in the 4-. Claire has recently accepted a scholarship to Duke University where she will compete for the Blue Devils.
Martin, who competed for Canada in the 4x last summer and earned CSSRA silver medals in the 4+ and 8+ last month, will compete as a sculler.
We wish these two young rowers all the best as prepare to represent their country this summer.
