On December 14, Brentwood’s Rowing program celebrated the end of the first term of rigourous training with an Erg Excellence Day. To reward the fittest, Best in Boathouse pins were awarded to the division winners listed below:

Jr. Lwt. Boys:     Liam C 5:12

Jr. Lwt. Girls:    Amaya V 5:56

Jr. Boys:            Valentin E 4:56

Jr. Girls:               Amy C 6:10

Sr. Lwt. Boys:     Francesco M 6:33

Sr. Lwt. Girls:    Kate W 7:57

Sr. Boys:          Brett V 6:17

Sr. Girls:       Josie S 7:30

Eight flights of 12 rowers raced 1500 m (Juniors) and 2000 m (Seniors). All 12 machines were hooked up to the big screen so that the students could see that they were racing against each other. Many Personal Bests were achieved over the course of the afternoon.
