Fall Colours: More Than Just Deciduous Leaves

Athletic excellence was celebrated on Thursday at Assembly as Colours and Special Awards were presented to some of our outstanding rugby, volleyball, soccer, field hockey and cross country athletes. Colours are awarded to students who have consistently exhibited excellence in performance, attitude and sportsmanship.

Junior Colours went in Rugby: Joaquin BG, Trevor E & Denver S; Field Hockey: Kaela S and Volleyball: Lauren Y & Katlan S.

Intermediate Colours were awarded in Field Hockey: Isabelle D, Isabel RGM & Jordan B; Soccer: Reid A, Graydon C, Aaron H, Martin K & Ulysses FG; Volleyball: Simone H, Mollie MG, Bobbie dW, Tristyn H & Hannah W.
Senior Colours were awarded in Cross Country: Pascale B, Dane B, Liam Kelly, Ole B, Hut C, Jonathan CH & Ciara M; Field Hockey: Bronwen S, Sarah H, Amanda M, Sammy J & Jacqueline P; Soccer : Aidan C, Thomas S, Nicholas W, René B & Jason T.
Major Awards were also presented. Denver S won the Dale Bannerman Award for the Grade 9 Rugby Player of the Year while Sammy J & Jacqueline P shared the Hall Mackenzie Award for Service and Contribution to Field Hockey. The Grimes Award for Inspirational Leadership both on and off the field went to Amanda M and the Stephen Spragge Memorial Award for Inspirational Leadership to René B.
