The 26 members of Brentwood’s 2016-2017 Grade 8 Class took the plunge earlier today by completing their pre-SALTS swim test. Tomorrow they depart aboard the Pacific Swift for three days sailing around the Gulf Islands and managing the ship including raising and lowering sails, navigating, steering the ship, galley work, marine radio watch, and anchor watch at night.
