Much Needed Midterm

Already halfway through the first term, I suppose you could say that everybody was ready for a little bit of a break. Dozens of Grade 12s went out to eastern Canada with the school to tour some universities including Western, McGill, Dalhousie, U of T, Queens, and Concordia. I have only heard positive feedback from them. They said that they now have a clearer picture of where they may want to attend school next. The school also organized a trip to Tofino for some of our overseas students which included surfing. A few of the rowers also took a school trip to Seattle where the Senior Girls eight, Senior Boys 8 and Senior Boys Single did some racing.  In regards to non-school related breaks, Delaina M, Mack ’16 found herself at home where she got her hair done and instead of it being highlighted, it turned orange. She thankfully got it re-done and spent some quality time with her dogs.  I went to Vancouver with my family to see the Cirque Du Soliel and toured the city and did some much needed relaxing. Everybody is now back settling into the Brentwood routine and ready for the much-anticipated Snowball and Mackenzie Open House.  We truly are so fortunate here at Brentwood to have the opportunities we do.
