Ready to Run

260 students and 12 staff, led by SPARC President, Raveena K and SPARC Sponsor, Mrs. Andrea Felix, will board busses this Sunday morning for the annual Run for the Cure in Victoria. Led by champion fund-raiser Tyler A of Ellis House, the Brentwood community has raised more than $15,000 for cancer research.
This philanthropic and energetic group will enjoy motivational speeches from cancer survivors, a dancercise warm-up, a communal run, and a post-run tent full of delectables put on by Thrifty Foods.
Reaching the $15,000 plateau also released the student body from a chocolate milk embargo that had been imposed by Mr. Patel a fortnight ago. The chocolate milk will once again flow sweetly from the taps in Crooks Hall! Power to the proletariat!
