Regatta Performances – Of the Musical Variety
Brentwood’s Annual Regatta would not be complete without entertainment. The stage this year featured many different musicians who varied in their types of music. On Friday, our Brentwood rock bands performed. Featuring students from Grades 9 to 12, they shared all that they have been working on this school year. Later Ryan McMahon made an appearance and enlightened us with some of his talent. DJ Tor-Nat-O came out to give us a wild night on campus as all of the athletes, students, and friends gathered in front of the stage for a giant, fun-filled mosh-pit. On Saturday, the incredibly talented Ryan Olszewski and his band The Bad performed hits that rocked the crowd. Cruel Shoes and Hummer also came out to give Brentwood a show. Mr. Phil Newns, one of Brentwood’s musical directors, and Kristina Helene performed many songs as well. Then Hope House’s very own Terry Marshall gave us an unbelievable show as he and his band rocked everyone’s socks off. DJ Tor-Nat-O also returned for the dance Saturday night, and although it was cut short due to an early bedtime for all, I know that everyone who showed up had a great night filled with loud music and fun times.
