Whittall House is Bullish

Whittall House. We get each other fired up – but thankfully the house does not. Although the house featured gym rats and rugby players, we somehow managed to create a comfortable place for everyone including gamers, chess players, musicians, simps, and a newcomer, Ms Ramsay.

Ms Ramsay immediately became an integral part of Whittall culture, joking around with kids and supplying food and an air fryer. This caused almost everyone to start cooking more after prep. Unfortunately, we never seemed to learn how to clean up after ourselves, which made Mr Gage close the kitchen innumerable times. However, that didn’t stop my roommate, Mitchell Kuo, who never failed to make ramen or rice in the room.

Thanks to our dedicated Interhouse Captain and my best friend, Davis Pettit, Whittall had an outstanding year. Finally, we might be able to break the curse of third. During the first event, the Prefects could see a change: the house was more enthusiastic and motivated than in previous years: we were putting more effort into the events. A monumental event was winning Eco-Challenge, which started off the year on a good note. We did get robbed of first in Airband by Hope-Privett – but that is unimportant.

No matter how amazing the year went, no one truly listened to us when we asked them to go to bed on time, but I will still miss every single one of you. Grade 9s, just because you are already bigger than me doesn’t mean you are going to have a girlfriend next year. Focus on academics. Grade 10s, you guys are no longer juniors and will live downstairs together – don’t let the freedom make you lack. Grade 11s, no comment on you guys – just kidding. I’d recommend you to go to bed early otherwise Mr Gage will come to your room almost every night and beg you: “GO TO BED”. Fellow Grade 12s, we’ve almost made it, you are almost free. Enjoy your life.
